Minecraft Murder Mystery is a fast-paced multiplayer deduction game where every round turns into a tense battle of trust and survival. You join a match with other players, but nobody immediately knows who the real killer is.
The role you are given will determine your objective. You could be the murderer at times, secretly pursuing everyone else. At other times, you could take on the role of the Detective, who is the only player with a weapon and has to stop the murderer. For the most part, you will be an innocent player attempting to survive while accumulating gold for self-defense.
Observing and timing are difficult. You must watch how other players move, spot suspicious players, and act quickly when danger presents itself.
Minecraft Murder Mystery usually includes several modes that change the way each match plays out.
Classic Mode
This is the standard mode most players start with.
Murderer: Your goal is to eliminate every other player without revealing yourself.
Detective: You start with a bow. Try to identify and eliminate the murderer before it’s too late.
Innocents: You begin unarmed. Try to survive and collect gold scattered around the map. When you gather 10 gold, you receive a bow and one arrow to defend yourself.
Double Up Mode
This mode increases the chaos and strategy.
Two Murderers are hidden among the players.
Two Detectives are trying to stop them.
As a player, you must be even more careful about who you trust.
Assassins Mode
Everyone becomes both a hunter and a target.
You receive a specific player to eliminate.
At the same time, another player is secretly hunting you.
Your goal is to eliminate your target while staying alive.
Infection Mode
One player begins as the Alpha Zombie.
If the zombie eliminates someone, that player also becomes a zombie.
Your objective is to survive as long as possible before the infection spreads.
